Welcome to

DAIBUDO KODENKAN MATSUNO KENSHUKAI

The goal of Daibudo Kodenkan Matsuno Kenshukai is to promote Prof. Seishiro Okazaki’s primary objective of perfecting each student’s character. It is DKMK’s as well as Seishiro Okazaki’s belief that one’s character, when cultivated properly, would lead students to a harmonious life with family and society. Learning to overcome fear and developing self-confidence adds to one’s character and gives birth to respect for others.

DAIBUDO KODENKAN MATSUNO KENSHKAI (DKMK) has a rich history with it's beginnings firmly embedded in the Japanese and Okinawan traditional martial arts culture. DKMK philosophy is based on the principles as set forth by Professor Seishiro Henry Okazaki, the founder of Danzan-ryu Jujitsu. The DKMK and it's member school, the KODENKAN BUDOKAI's, director and chief instructor, Barry Holck Sensei, is committed to the perpetuation of these principles: respect, gratitude, obligation, service, and self-discipline.

The KODENKAN BUDOKAI, located in the Kodenkan Center martial arts school, is a group of students training under Barry Holck sensei in traditional Danzan-Ryu Judo/Jujitsu & Shorin-Ryu Karate. With regular practice students will learn self-defense skills, improve awareness & confidence, improve physical movement, flexibility, & strength.

The KODENKAN BUDOKAI offer classes in Japanese Jujitsu & Judo for ages 7 - 70+, and Okinawan Karate for ages 13 - 70+.
